ABOUT THE WORK

My artistic interests lie with geometry and rigorous exploration of shape and color. I draw inspiration from connected shapes, die-cut parts of boxes, scored folds and flaps, typography and graphic signage. Whether these objects are deconstructed, reconstructed, or configured into fragments, I enjoy using compositional language to develop the work. My paintings address issues of complex spatial relationships, geometry and color interactions.
