ABOUT THE ARTIST
William DiBello is a Boston artist who has exhibited his work at locations around the country, including at the Woodmere Art Museum, Soil Gallery, and the Abington Arts Center. William graduated with a B.F.A. in painting from The Tyler School of Art at Temple University in 1999. He then received an M.F.A. in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002, and has since been showing his work across the country, most recently at Gallery 817 at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.
ABOUT THE WORK
Screen Dreams is the culmination of a two year project that is a rumination on the flickering light, color and organizing structures of electronic screens and their parallels to the points, lines and matrixes that are common to the history of abstract painting.
